C-Suite Café Podcast Launches to Democratize Mentorship, Ideas-Sharing in Africa by Ikem Okuhu

A new initiative aimed at popularizing mentorship and knowledge-sharing is set to debut in Nigeria as journalist and brand strategist Ikem Okuhu introduces C-Suite Café, a groundbreaking talk show designed for the African media space.

As the name suggests, C-Suite Café will engage Africa’s top business and policy leaders in relaxed, insightful conversations that foster learning, motivation, and inspiration. Described by its creator as a “free online MBA class,” the show is produced in collaboration with *Media Icons Africa*, a seasoned broadcast content services company, and aims to bring Africans closer to the continent’s most successful minds to cultivate enterprise, leadership, and innovation.

Ikem Okuhu, CEO of BRANDish Media, explained that C-Suite Café was conceived to unlock and disseminate the knowledge behind thriving businesses, investments, and policy initiatives. He described the show as a “lifestyle programme for African executives,” offering audiences the opportunity to gain valuable insights by engaging with the strategic thinking and business philosophies of accomplished leaders.

Each episode will delve into the lives and experiences of guest CEOs, covering their education, career trajectories, family influences, business philosophies, breakthrough moments, challenges, and key lessons learned.

“Our goal is to create a platform where Nigerians and Africans can connect with the most successful individuals in society, tapping into their wealth of knowledge to help others shape their own paths to success,” said Okuhu, a seasoned author and communications expert.

He emphasized that Africa is home to numerous changemakers who have transformed business and policy landscapes. “Whether they are entrepreneurs or professionals who climbed from entry-level to top executive roles, their stories can inspire current and future generations,” he added.

Partnering with *Media Icons Africa*, led by John Upah, C-Suite Café will leverage high-quality production standards to deliver world-class content. “We’re not just filling a gap—we’re committed to providing premium content that competes globally,” Okuhu stated.

Unlike typical celebrity-focused platforms, C-Suite Café will not glorify wealth for its own sake. Instead, guests will be carefully selected based on their inspiring journeys and contributions. Okuhu noted that audience input will also help determine future guests, ensuring the show remains relevant and impactful.

The program will air on national television while also streaming on digital platforms like YouTube, Facebook Reels, Instagram, TikTok, and X (formerly Twitter) to maximize reach.

“This show has cross-generational appeal,” Okuhu remarked. “Successful individuals still seek wisdom from peers, while young professionals, students, and aspiring entrepreneurs can draw motivation from these stories. We’ll use every available platform to ensure Africans have access to content worth their time and engagement.”

With its focus on authentic mentorship and thought leadership, C-Suite Café is poised to become a vital resource for Africa’s next generation of innovators and leaders.
