Ewekoro APC Leaders Declare Support for Adijat Adeleye,Vow Massive Mobilisation for Victory
Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State have pledged their total support for the party’s House of Representatives candidate for the Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency, Hon. Motunrayo Adijat Adeleye, ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
The commitment was made during a strategic stakeholders’ meeting held at the residence of the Ewekoro APC Apex Leader, Chief Shina Adegbenro, where members of the Ifo APC Apex Body paid a solidarity visit to their Ewekoro counterparts to strengthen party unity and harmonise campaign strategies.
The meeting brought together key APC leaders from both local government areas, including the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Ganiyu Hamzat; former Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly and Member representing Ifo I State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo; Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government, Hon. Sikiru Adesina; APC Chairman in Ewekoro, Chief Sogbamu; APC Chairman in Ifo Local Government, Barr. Olumide Oduwole; Chief Derin Adebiyi; Chief Aare Tunde Alabi; and other party stakeholders.
Speaking on behalf of the Ifo APC Apex Body, Chief Aare Tunde Alabi described the meeting as a “family gathering” aimed at consolidating the long-standing relationship between APC leaders in Ifo and Ewekoro.
According to him, the visit was designed to deepen collaboration, strengthen party unity and ensure that both local governments work together with a shared vision to secure victory for the APC in the coming elections.
Addressing the gathering, the House of Representatives candidate, Hon. Motunrayo Adijat Adeleye, said engaging critical stakeholders was essential as preparations for the campaign gather momentum.
She urged party leaders to embrace unity, inclusiveness and collective responsibility, stressing that every stakeholder must be carried along in building a formidable political structure capable of delivering victory for the APC across all elective positions.
In his response, Chief Shina Adegbenro reaffirmed the commitment of APC leaders in Ewekoro to work tirelessly for the party’s success.
He announced the adoption of “Operation Deliver Your Ward,” describing it as a grassroots mobilisation strategy aimed at ensuring overwhelming support for APC candidates across all polling units.
Chief Adegbenro maintained that electoral victory would only be achieved through teamwork, effective mobilisation and the unwavering commitment of party members.
The meeting ended with renewed assurances of unity and cooperation between APC leaders in Ifo and Ewekoro, as stakeholders resolved to intensify grassroots mobilisation across wards and communities, expressing confidence that the strengthened alliance would translate into victory for Hon. Motunrayo Adijat Adeleye and other APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.
