Governor Abiodun Pays Glowing Tribute to Osoba at 87, Hails His Legacy of Service

ABEOKUTA – Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, has paid glowing tribute to former Governor of Ogun State and elder statesman, Aremo Chief Olusegun Osoba, on the occasion of his 87th birthday, describing him as an extraordinary patriot, distinguished journalist, accomplished democrat, and one of Nigeria’s finest political leaders.

In a congratulatory message marking the milestone, Governor Abiodun said Chief Osoba’s remarkable career in journalism, politics, and public service stands as a testament to courage, integrity, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to truth, justice, and national development.

The governor noted that the two-time Ogun State governor’s influence extends far beyond public office, stressing that his legacy as a mentor, bridge-builder, and statesman has continued to inspire and shape generations of leaders within Ogun State and across Nigeria.

According to Governor Abiodun, Chief Osoba belongs to a rare generation of Nigerians whose lives have significantly influenced the country’s democratic evolution through selfless service and principled leadership.
