The Giwa Egbe Obayori Okunrin [Asiwaju] Akile Ijebu and the Executive Chairman, Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area, extend warm felicitations to all Muslims. This festive period is a time for spiritual reflection, gratitude, and unity among Muslims worldwide.

In a statement, signed and released by the Publicity Secretary of the age group, Comrade Akeem Temitope Akilo, Giwa Anomo said, “I heartily congratulate our Muslim brothers and sisters on this auspicious occasion. May the blessings of Allah be upon us all, and may this celebration bring peace, prosperity, and harmony to our communities.”

Furthermore, Giwa, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo commended the members of Egbe Obayori Okunrin [Asiwaju] Akile Ijebu, an Ijebu age grade comprised of Ijebu sons born in the years 1977, 1978 and 1979, renowned for its vibrant participation in the Ojude Oba festival, a cherished tradition in the Ijebu land. The Ojude Oba festival celebrates heritage, unity, and cultural diversity, showcasing the rich traditions of the Ijebu people.

“As Egbe Obayori prepares to dazzle people with our splendour and pageantry at the Ojude Oba festival, under the royal majesty of His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr) Sikiru Kayode Adetona, GCON, Ogbagba II, The 53rd Awujale & Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland, I wish every one of us a successful celebration. May our efforts be rewarded with joy, unity, and a deeper appreciation for our cultural heritage,” Giwa Anomo added.
