Ogun APC Celebrates Eid-el-Kabir, Urges Unity and Sacrifice
The Ogun State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful across the state and Nigeria in commemoration of Eid-el-Kabir.
In a statement signed by the Acting Publicity Secretary, Mrs Blessed Ogunsanya, the party rejoiced with Governor Dapo Abiodun, his deputy, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, state executives, lawmakers, local government officials, and all APC members on the occasion.
The statement highlighted the significance of Eid-el-Kabir, emphasizing the virtues of faith, sacrifice, and obedience as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (AS). It called on Muslims and residents of Ogun State to uphold these values to foster unity, peace, and development.
The APC also lauded Governor Abiodun’s administration for its commitment to infrastructural growth, education, healthcare, and economic empowerment under the “Building Our Future Together” agenda. The party pledged continued support for the government’s efforts toward a prosperous Ogun State.
Additionally, the statement encouraged citizens to remember the less privileged during the celebration and spread kindness. It concluded with prayers for peace and prosperity, wishing everyone a joyous Eid.
