Breaking: Rotimi Adeyemi Emerges Leader of Odeda LGA Legislative Arm
Following the first plenary of the Odeda local government Legislators at Odeda, Headquarters of Odeda Local Government Area, Hon. Rotimi Adeyemi, a second-term councillor, emerged as the Leader of the 9th Assembly of the Legislative Arm.
Newsacross.com reports that Hon. Hazzan Abayomi, a returnee Councillor, was elected the Deputy Leader during the section held Friday, November 22 2024, at the Council’s Legislative Chamber.
Others include Hon Sina Ebenezer Semilore, Majority Leader; and Hon. Kazeem Tiamiyu, Chief Whip.
The Councillors were charged by the Chairman, Hon Folasade Adeyemo, to take the business of legislation seriously as the bylaws passed by the House will form the bedrock of policies for the governance of the Local Government.
