Renewed Hope Agenda on Course as Sen. Adeola Yayi Pledges More Projects

Senator Solomon Adeola (APC, Ogun West) has reaffirmed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda is delivering tangible results across critical sectors as the administration approaches its midterm.

The senator made the declaration on Saturday while speaking as the Special Guest of Honour at the 20th Coronation Anniversary of the Omola of Imala, Oba Moses Adegboyega Olabode, mni. Represented by his Chief of Staff and Baaroyin of Imala Kingdom, Chief Kayode Odunaro, Senator Adeola highlighted the positive outcomes of key federal reforms, including petrol subsidy removal, exchange rate stabilization, and infrastructure development.

Senator Adeola noted that under the Renewed Hope Agenda, he has facilitated over 250 completed infrastructure projects in Ogun West, with many more underway. These include road constructions, school buildings, health facilities, modern markets, new police stations, and the installation of transformers and solar street lights.

“The policies of President Tinubu are gradually yielding positive results, and I am glad that Ogun West is benefiting through these projects, complementing the state government’s efforts under Governor Dapo Abiodun,” he stated.

He also reassured constituents that the Abeokuta-Rounda-Olorunda-Imala federal road, long in deplorable condition, will be reconstructed under the Renewed Hope Infrastructure Initiatives.

The event, attended by prominent monarchs including the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle, and the Olubara of Ibara, Oba Olufemi Omolade, also featured commendations for Oba Olabode’s developmental strides.

Oba Olugbenle praised the Omola for attracting projects like the proposed Providence International University, Imala, and urged citizens to actively participate in elections to ensure good governance.

In his response, Oba Olabode expressed gratitude for the support and prayed for the success of President Tinubu, Governor Abiodun, and other leaders. He emphasized that the proposed university is part of his legacy to boost education in Nigeria.

The celebration included financial grants for market women, scholarship awards, and cultural performances, underscoring the community’s appreciation for progress under the APC-led administration.
