BREAKING: APC National Chairman, Ganduje, Reportedly Resigns

Abuja– Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has reportedly resigned from his position in a sudden move that has sent shockwaves through the ruling party.
Sources within the APC national secretariat in Abuja confirmed that Ganduje’s aides were seen removing his personal belongings from his office early Friday. The development comes amid speculation that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu may have influenced the decision, though no official reason has been given.
An anonymous party official told *The Guardian*, *”You can see, they have removed Ganduje’s portrait from the office. His staff have been packing files and personal items all morning. This isn’t new—we saw similar situations with Adamu and Oshiomhole.”*
Ganduje, a former governor of Kano State, was appointed APC chairman in August 2023 after the resignation of Senator Abdullahi Adamu. His tenure faced legal challenges, including a suit questioning his eligibility for the position, which was dismissed by the Federal High Court in September 2024.
Earlier this year, President Tinubu appointed Ganduje as Board Chairman of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), fueling speculation about his political future.
As of now, neither Ganduje nor the APC has issued an official statement. More details to follow as this story develops.
