Gov. Abiodun to Swear in Six New Permanent Secretaries Today
Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, is set to swear in six newly appointed Permanent Secretaries in the state’s public service today, Wednesday, July 15, 2026.
The swearing-in ceremony will take place at the Executive Chambers, Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, beginning at 12:00 noon.
The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are:
– Dr. Solomon Oluseyi Sokunbi
– Mr. Abiodun Oladunjoye Akinwunmi
– Mr. Adedeji Akanbi Sowunmi
– Mr. Olumide Olusola Ogunbo
– Mr. Dolamu Isaiah Idowu-Agida
– Tpl. Musinat Abiola Ayodele
According to a statement issued by the Head of Service, Ogun State, Mr. I.O. Saka, mni, members of the State Executive Council, the new appointees and invited guests are expected to be seated at the venue by 11:30 a.m. ahead of the commencement of the ceremony.
The appointments, which were earlier announced by the Ogun State Government, are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the state’s public service and enhance effective service delivery across ministries, departments and agencies.
