Ogun APC Secretariat to Be Commissioned in November — Abiodun

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has announced that the newly constructed All Progressives Congress (APC) state secretariat in Abeokuta will be commissioned in November.

Abiodun made the announcement during an on-the-spot inspection of the ultra-modern facility located along Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, where he expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of construction.
The governor disclosed that the project, which was launched less than a year ago, was nearing completion and would soon provide the party with a permanent administrative headquarters in the state.
“We were here for the groundbreaking ceremony less than a year ago, and I must say that I am impressed with what I am seeing. I am happy with the location and the level of completion. I am sure that within another week or so, this should have been completely rounded off,” Abiodun said.
The new secretariat features a conference and banquet hall capable of accommodating more than 500 people, offices for party officials and members, as well as adequate parking facilities.
Describing the project as a significant milestone for the APC in Ogun State, Abiodun said the imposing structure and its strategic location would make it a landmark for the party, particularly as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The governor also expressed confidence in the building’s prominence, noting that its appearance would make a strong impression on visitors and political observers.
“Even just driving past our office itself, you begin to feel a sense of defeat if you are not in our party,” he said.
The new facility is expected to replace the rented premises previously used by the Ogun APC in Abeokuta, providing a permanent base for the party’s administrative operations, meetings and other political activities.
The planned November commissioning marks a major step in the party’s efforts to strengthen its organisational infrastructure in Ogun State ahead of the next general elections.
