Team 20,000 Votes for Yayi 2027 has appointed three political stakeholders as chairmen of its senatorial district structures and unveiled Local Government Coordinators across Ogun State as part of efforts to strengthen its grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 governorship election.

The movement announced Comr. Odebode Moruf Opeyemi, popularly known as KAKA, as Chairman for Ogun Central; Hon. (AMB) Solomon Sunday Olarewaju, known as OSA, for Ogun West; and Hon. Gazal Olasunkanmi, popularly known as GASAL, for Ogun East.

According to the movement, the appointments are aimed at strengthening its organisational structure, improving coordination across the three senatorial districts, and expanding engagement with residents and supporters at the local government and community levels.

The newly appointed chairmen are expected to coordinate activities within their respective districts, facilitate communication between the state leadership and grassroots structures, and work closely with the Local Government Coordinators to ensure effective mobilisation and information sharing.

The unveiled coordinators will serve as links between the movement’s leadership and members in their respective local government areas, coordinating local activities, encouraging participation, and supporting the movement’s organisational objectives.

Team 20,000 Votes for Yayi 2027 said it was building a broad support network comprising young professionals, technocrats, entrepreneurs, students, and other citizens who support Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, ahead of the 2027 Ogun State governorship election.

The movement expressed confidence that the experience and commitment of the newly appointed leaders would contribute to building a disciplined and effective grassroots network across the state.

It congratulated KAKA, OSA, GASAL, and the Local Government Coordinators on their appointments, urging members to cooperate with them and work collectively towards achieving the movement’s objectives.

The statement was jointly signed by Temitope Seweje, State Coordinator, and Comr. Rasheed Aroboto, Convener of Team 20,000 Votes for Yayi 2027.
