EFCC Arrests 12 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Uyo

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Uyo Zonal Directorate, have arrested twelve suspected internet fraudsters in a sting operation conducted around Stadium Road, Unity Road, and Ekpri Nsukara in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

They were arrested following credible intelligence on their suspected involvement in internet crimes.

Items recovered from them include 20 mobile phones and three laptops.

They will be charged in court after ongoing investigations.
