Ogun LG chairman, Ayodeji Shomide Calls For Public Synergy To Curb Crimes

The Transition committee chairman, Abeokuta south local government, Hon. Ayodeji Shomide has called for more cooperation from all security agency in the local government to help curb crimes and apprehend criminals.

Hon. Ayodeji Shomide made this call while receiving the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) divisional officer for Abeokuta south local government,Mr. Victor Oluwole-Philips in his office, Secretariat, Ake, Abeokuta, Ogun state.

Shomide, maintained that, security measures should be put in place in order to keep the Area safer, through day and night patrol of Civil Defence Corp members.

While thanking the Divisional Officer of NSCDC for Aslg Area, Officer Victor Oluwole-Philips and his team, during their courtesy visit to the Chairman at the Council Secretariat, Ake, the Council Boss, also stressed that, there is need for a synergy between the local government and NSCDC in combating crimes in the Area.

While responding, the Divisional Officer, promised to do his best in attending to the request of the chairman in terms of security measures to save lives and properties of the people. Adding that, the council can assist them with Patrol Van and Motor Cycles in order to make their job easier.
