Ogun ALGON Commiserates With Governor Abiodun over the Murder of His Aide

The Association of Local Government Chairmen in Ogun State (ALGON), has commiserated with His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, OFR, on the unfortunate demise of Mr Taiwo Oyekan, the Director of Finance and Administration in the governor’s office, who was gruesomely murdered while on official duty on Wednesday, 29th November, 2023.

Oyekanmi was on official assignment within the metropolis when he met his untimely death in the hands of his assailants.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Chairman of the group, Honourable Tunde Emilola-Gazal.

Emilola-Gazal described the incident as a rude shock, as he called for prayers for the immediate family of the late director for them to have the necessary fortitude to bear the great loss.

“We are deeply saddened by this irreparable loss and the vacuum his exit will cause your office, his families and Ogun State in general.

“We pray God Almighty to comfort you and his family members, especially during this time of grief, and grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
Once again accept our heart-felt condolences”the statement read.
