LG Polls: Dapo Odunsi rallies support of co-contestants, Leaders, others in Remo North LGA

All Progressives Congress (APC) Stakeholders and Chairmanship aspirants in Remo North Local Government Held a Reconciliation meeting on Saturday 26th of June, 2021 which was held at the Local Government Party Secretariat to call for truce and support the party’s candidate for the forthcoming LG election in the state.

According to a statement signed by Mr. Aremo Akinlolu Agunbiade on behalf of All Progressives Congress,
Remo North Local Government and made available to Newsacross

“The meeting which lasted for hours was held to ensure all hands are on deck to ensure the party emerged victorious. Recall that more than 15 aspirants vied for the position of the APC flag bearer in the Chairmanship election where Prince. Dapo Odunsi emerged as the party’s candidate after a long period of consultations and compromise.

“With the intervention of stakeholders in the party, other aspirants have now agreed to work and support the party’s candidate noting the party’s progress and development before personal agenda(s).

Aspirants present were;

2. Comrade S.T Soyemi
3. Alhaja Mojirayo Oyefeso
4. Alhaji Bashiru Olamilekan
5. Pastor Femi Onajoko
6. Otunba Muiwa Ladejobi
7. Hon Ahmed Saka
8. Comrade Olasunkanmi Ijaduoye
9. Captain Festus Opanuga
10. Mr Shittu Alliu O
11. Mrs Kafilat Olaleye

While other stakeholders like Mr Samson Odeyemi (Party Chairman)

and other respectable leaders were also present to ensure the party has one undivided house before the polls

The Reconciliation meeting ended with Vote of thanks from the Party Flag Bearer Prince Odunsi, he concluded
