Ipokia LG Boss, Avoseh Commends Training of Frontline Health Workers
Ipokia- The Executive Chairman of Ipokia Local Government, Hon. Johnson Akohomeh Avoseh aka Connerstone has lauded National Primary Health Care Development Agency for organizing training for frontline workers.
He made this commendation today, Tuesday, 10/12/2024 when he visited District High School, Ipokia, the venue of the training in the Council Area.
Hon. Avoseh stated that this training is more timely and will make them effective and efficient in their service delivery.
He stressed that health is on the priority list of his agenda.
Speaking further, the Council helmsman said that the service rendered by the health workers in the society is vital and highly appreciated, hence the need for training and retraining.
Connerstone however, charged them to be more courteous, intolerant to Patients and offer best practices. He as well urged them to be attentive and be ready to put in practice all that they have learnt during the training exercise.
This training exercise encompasses Health Care Sevices; such as Immunization, Family Planning, Essential Drugs, Tubaculosis( Screening and Training), HIV ( Screening and Training), and Noncommunicable Diseases, cuts across the Twenty (20) Local Government Areas in Ogun State and will last for Ten days between Monday, 9th December to Wednesday, 18th December, 2024.
The Resource Persons are: Dr. Akindele A.M, Mr. Durojaye Ayuba, Mr. Olaleye Olawale, Mr. Bakare Mudashir and Mrs Akinsanya M.O.
Hon. Avoseh Johnson was accompanied to the event by the Vice Chairman Mrs. Olufunmilayo Okewole.
