Senator Salisu Hosts Ogun Central Youth Groups, Pledges commitment to serving the masses

The Senator representing Ogun Central Senatorial District, Alhaji Shuaib Afolabi Salisu has organized a town hall meeting in his constituency office along Abiola Way, Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.

The meeting was part of his appreciation for the mandate given to him to serve and the opportunity for the Constituents to highlight their challenges.

The event, which was held in his constituency office was attended by Youth groups across the Ogun Central Senatorial District.

The dynamic lawmaker used the occasion to thank party youths and interest groups for standing by him to make his dream come true, pledging his unwavering commitment to bring about quality representation through sponsoring bills in the Senate that would impact their lives positively.

Senator Salisu highlighted some of his new projects across the district.
1. Training, empowerment, and upskilling of over 100 young men and women in various aspects of digital skills and ICT development.

2. 300 women across six local governments in Ogun Central Senatorial District have been trained to be active agents of mitigating climate change in their respective domains.

3. Unveiled Special Food Packages for Distribution to Families via Radio Stations
4. Building of 8 ICT Centers across Ogun Central secondary schools
5. Purchase of Jamb forms for over 1000 students and many more.

The group applauded Senator Salisu for his display of admirable intellectual prowess, integrity, and a clear sense of focus which according to them are traits that characterize visionary leaders.

They unanimously reassured him of their unalloyed support and promised to inform other youths within their domain of the good works of Senator Salisu.

The meeting also had in attendance the Director General of the SAS campaign team, Engr. Babatunde Adesina; Hon. Ganiyu Oyedeji, (GOCO), former Member of Ogun State House of Assembly representing Ifo Constituency 2; Odeda Local Government Chairman, Hon. Folasade Adeyemo; Commissioner, Ogun State Teaching Service Commission(TESCOM ), Hon Majekodunmi Olanrewaju and other prominent personalities across Ogun Central Senatorial District.
