Ogun Commissioner Visits Mother of Newborn Quadruplets, Pledges Government Support

Abeokuta – The Ogun State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Adijat Motunrayo Adeleye, has paid a congratulatory visit to a new mother, Mrs. Mufiat Olateju, who recently gave birth to a set of quadruplets at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Abeokuta.








Hon. Adeleye led a delegation of ministry officials to the hospital to celebrate with the family following the safe arrival of the four babies. According to the Commissioner, Mrs. Olateju, who is already a mother of five, successfully delivered the quadruplets on Wednesday, bringing immense joy and excitement to her family.
During the visit, Hon. Adeleye extended the felicitations of the Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration to the family. She assured Mrs. Olateju of the government’s moral, financial, and other necessary support to aid in the care and wellbeing of the newborns.
“I congratulated the family on the safe delivery and assured them of the government’s commitment to assisting them during this time,” Hon. Adeleye stated.
The Commissioner also took the opportunity to commend the medical team at FMC, Abeokuta, for their professionalism and dedication. She praised their efforts in ensuring a successful delivery for the mother and her children.
Hon. Adeleye reassured the family of the present administration’s unwavering commitment to the welfare and well-being of mothers and children across Ogun State.
