Jagunmolu Akande Omoniyi Lifts Constituents with #COVID- 19 Relief Package

The Honorable Commissioner for Housing in Ogun State, Jagunmolu Akande Omoniyi made a soothing return to his communities of Joga, Ibooro, Ijako and others to distribute relief materials to vulnerable people to mitigate the effect of the COVID – 19 lockdown in Ogun State.


The distribution of the palliative came as the federal government extended the lockdown in FCT, Lagos and Ogun state for 14 more days.
In the words of the Commissioner, the distribution of the relief materials is in support of the effort of Prince Dapo Abiodun led administration to ensure that the vulnerable people in the state are taken care of while the lockdown lasts.
Jagunmolu said that the people should not see the lockdown as punishment but as a decision that was hard for Prince Dapo Abiodun government to agree with in order to safe all of us from the corona virus pandemic.


He added that the virus has no known cure yet making it important for the people to observe the stay at home directive and be hygienic to be safe since social distancing and personal hygiene remain the best and most effective way to stop the spread of the virus right now.
Jagunmolu Omoniyi assured the people that the Prince Dapo Abiodun administration will continue to see their welfare as a priority as the world battles Covid – 19 and beyond.
