Residents of Yewa North/Imeko Afon Federal Constituency have lauded a Member of House of Representative, Hon. Olaifa Jimoh Aremu (OJA), for giving food items to the vulnerable and needy in the area, to survive the current COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.

Addressing his beneficiaries in Ayetoro through his Senior Legislative aide, Mr Wale Junaid, OJA noted that over 1,000 stimulus packages were made available with a view to distribute 50 parks containing 5kg of rice, 5kg of gari and one pack of indomie nodles per Ward.
He advised the people to keep adhering to all precautionary measures and directives laid down by the Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC), praying for quick eradication of the pandemic.
OJA also commended Governor Dapo Abiodun for distributing food and other palliative items across the State to ameliorate the suffering of the people during the lockdown period.
Some beneficiaries, Mr. Oniyinde Adebanjo, Mrs Olaleye Rebecca, Mr. Olusola Ojekunle and Alh. Gbadamosi Fatai, said they were thrilled about the gesture extended by Hon. Olaifa as the relief packages have reduced the pressure of lockdown order.
