Breaking: Sanwo-Olu’s Deputy Chief of Staff in sudden death

The Deputy Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, Gboyega Soyannwo, has been reported dead after a brief illness.

Soyanwo, who celebrated his 55th birthday last October, was reported to have slumped and died a few hours later.

He was pronounced dead by medical experts on Thursday at a hospital where he was rushed after he slumped.

It was learned that the deceased, who had been with the governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, since his first term in 2019, had over the weekend suffered a partial stroke.
