Senator Adeola Yayi Congratulates Ayoola-Elegbeji on Bye-Election Victory
LAGOS, NIGERIA — Senator Solomon Adeola, representing Ogun West and serving as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, has extended his congratulations to Hon. (Princess) Adesola Ayoola-Elegbeji of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for her decisive victory in the bye-election for the Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency.
The senator remarked that Ayoola-Elegbeji’s landslide win is a clear sign that the constituents of the area endorse the positive work initiated by the late Hon. Adewunmi Onanuga and desire the continuity of her strong representation.
“I congratulate the leader of our party in Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, and the party’s executive for the clear victory in the bye-election with Hon. Ayoola-Elegbeji as the winner. The victory is an endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the commendable work of Prince Abiodun in steering the affairs of the state,” he stated.
As Chairman of the Ogun State National Assembly Caucus, Senator Adeola said he eagerly anticipates welcoming Hon. Ayoola-Elegbeji to the National Assembly. He affirmed that he will ensure the member-elect receives maximum cooperation to continue providing effective representation for her constituency.
