Sagamu – The developmental strides of Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, have been hailed as “giant milestone achievements” by a frontline aspirant for the House of Representatives, Otunba Tola Olutayo, who specifically lauded the governor’s transformative impact across critical sectors of the state economy.

In a public commendation released to journalists over the weekend, Olutayo – who is vying to represent Remo Federal Constituency (Sagamu, Ikenne, Remo North) – described the Abiodun Administration as one defined by vision, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to inclusive growth and sustainable development.
Olutayo singled out the Newly Commissioned Gateway International Airport – GIA project as a landmark achievement, noting that the facility reflects the governor’s forward – thinking strategy to boost economic expansion, enhance regional connectivity, and attract both local and international investment to the state.
On education, the aspirant acknowledged significant progress through the rehabilitation of public schools, investment in modern learning facilities, and targeted initiatives aimed at raising the quality of instruction. “These efforts are shaping a brighter future for the younger generation,” Olutayo said.
The governor’s commitment to environmental sustainability also received praise, with Olutayo pointing to effective waste management systems, urban beautification programmes, and environmental protection policies that have resulted in cleaner, healthier surroundings across the state.
Job creation, he noted, remains a key highlight of the Abiodun administration, citing numerous empowerment schemes, support for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and pro-industry policies that have expanded employment opportunities for citizens.
In infrastructure, Olutayo commended the government’s visible progress in road construction, urban renewal, and public works, which he said have significantly improved mobility, commerce, and the overall standard of living.
The health sector, he added, has witnessed enhanced service delivery through the upgrading of medical facilities, improved access to healthcare, and strengthened public health interventions. Similarly, security has been prioritised through strategic collaborations that ensure the safety of lives and property, fostering a peaceful environment for residents and investors.
Agriculture has also been revitalised, according to Olutayo, with farmer support programmes, improved access to resources, and policies aimed at boosting food production and guaranteeing food security.
“These remarkable achievements are a testament to your vision, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the development of Ogun State,” Olutayo wrote in the commendation addressed directly to the governor. “ HE Sir, your leadership continues to inspire confidence and optimism for an even more prosperous future.”
Olutayo, who holds professional memberships with the Association of Project Management Professionals (MAPM) and the Association of Registered Professional in Advertising (ARPA), extended his best wishes to the Mr Governor for continued success in serving the good people of Ogun State.
