Breaking: Olakunle Oluomo re-elected as Ogun Speaker

Former Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo has emerged the Speaker of the Tenth Assembly.

Hon Muse nominated Oluomo while Hon Owodeh Waliu from ijebu east seconded the motion

He was first elected as Speaker of the House in June 2019. His re-election took place during the inauguration of the 10th State House of Assembly.

Oluomo elected unopposed

Oluomo, a member of the All Progressives Congress and a fouth-term lawmaker from Ifo 1 state constituency, was elected the new Speaker by all the 26 members of the assembly.
