Ogun Speaker, Oluomo mourns over demise of APC Ogun Central chairman, Abiola

The Speaker, Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt Hon (Prince) Olakunle Taiwo Oluomo has expressed shock over the sudden death of the chairman, All Progressives Congress, Ogun Central Senatorial district, Chief Fohunola Abiola

Chief Abiola whose death was announced early this morning was a member of Ogun Governor’s Advisory Council.

Rt Hon Oluomo noted that the death of the late elder statesman was not just a colossal loss to the entire Ogun Central Senatorial district but would leave a huge vacuum in the political space of the entire state.

“Baba Fohun Abiola would be greatly missed for his elderly approach to issues and his matured political styles ” He said

According to him, ” Chief Abiola’s death is shocking and his many words of advice would be missed especially at a time like this when the second term administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun is just starting”

The Speaker commiserated with his family, the Governor, leaders and members of the APC in Ogun State as well as the Elders Advisory Council of the Governor.

He prayed for his soul to find peace in the bosom of his creator.
