Ogun Guber Hopeful, Sarafa Isola’s wife Gets Iya Àdinní Title in Abeokuta To Mark 60th Birthday

December 8, 2024, marked a momentous occasion as Alhaja Dr Mrs Soliat Bolanle Isola, a revered educationist and devoted mother, celebrated her 60th birthday. The multiple events took place at three Central Mosques in Abeokuta (Ikija Central Mosque, Oke-Ona Egba Central Mosque and Kobiti Central Mosque), where she was honored with the prestigious titles of Iyalode Adinni of Ikija, Iya Adinni of Oke-Ona Egba and Ogboye Obinrin Adinni Of Egba Muslims, reflecting her profound impact and commitment to the Muslim communities.
Dr. Soliat Ishola, wife of former Ambassador to the United Kingdom, His Excellency Alhaji Sarafa Tunji Isola, was described by her husband as a beacon of excellence in education, family and public service.
Her academic journey began at the Sepeteri Community High School in Oyo State and later at Oyo State College of Education, Lanlate. She later bagged a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Ibadan. Afterwards, she earned her Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Jos before she cemented her education excellence with a PhD in Educational Planning from Nassarawa State University.
Over the years, she has served in various capacities, including Vice Principal and Principal across numerous schools in Nigeria, shaping the minds of countless students before she retired as Deputy Director of Universal Basic Education Commission, Abuja.
Beyond her professional achievements, Dr Bolanle Isola is a loving mother and wife, instilling the values of discipline and faith in her children as a dedicated Muslim. Her passion for education and commitment to serving Almighty Allah have earned her the respect and admiration of her community.
The celebration was graced by distinguished personalities, including Chief Elder Joju Fadairo, Alhaji Mutiulai Dada, Chairman of the Muslims Community in Ikija, Hon. Sabur Sina Aroyehun and Alhaji Jeleel Akindele, among others. Their presence underscored the high regard in which Alhaja Isola is held within the community.
Alhaji Sarafa Tunji Isola, who holds the esteemed titles of Baba Adini of Muslims in Yorubaland, Edo, and Delta, and Taiyese of Muslims of Ikija, expressed immense pride in his wife’s accomplishments and contributions to society. “Her dedication to education and her faith is a source of inspiration for us all,” he remarked during the celebration.
