MAIYEGUN FULFILLS EMPOWERMENT PROMISE AS HE ADDS ANOTHER YEAR

HON. Lawal Abdulghani Abidemi on Thursday 7th of April expanded his empowerment programme under the Mayegun Progressive Forum.







The event which took place at Oke Ara Egba Ward 2, Abeokuta South LGA was also an avenue to mark his birthday that had a large turn out of over 300 APC members.
Point Of Sales Machines were distributed to about 25 people for start up business. This was after they had being trained on how to use the machine and earn from it.
At the event Hon. Abdulgafar Olalekan popularly know as Alaseyori also praised Mayegun as he described him as a true Progressive. He also encouraged the participants to make good use of this opportunity created by Hon. Mayegun.
The celebrant at the occasion also enjoined all beneficiaries to make use of the empowerment well in order to get more when their preferred candidate emerges. “This is to let you know that this empowerment is just a tip of the iceberg as we hope to do more, the people of Oke Ara Egba should embrace one and another towards the forthcoming election, and also those that did not benefit from today’s program will surely do some other times”, he mentioned. He stated that he decided to celebrate his birthday which is April 6th with his people because they are precious to him.
The organisers also used the opportunity to gather support for Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun second term ambition which was unanimously agreed by the people of Oke Aregba/Asero and the entire ward 2 at large.
Also, the Convener; Principal of Mayegun Progressive forum used the opportunity to Canvass support for a friend turned Brother Hon. Balogun Olaniyi Afeez, an aspirant for the post of Abeokuta South Federal House of Representatives. He described Hon. Afeez as a reliable, tested and trusted person whose humility is second to none. In addition he advised that the people of Oke Aregba, Asero and the entire peaople of Abeokuta should unite.
Other respectful personalities at the event includes; Hon. Super, the former LG Secretary of Abéòkúta South, the Current Secretary, Hon Mustapha Kodaolu, Mr. Gbadegunte Fabiyi, consultant to Hon. Lawal on empowerment and Chief Fajimi, Member of the Ogun governor’s advisory council.
