Lisabi Day: Olumide Osoba Pays Tribute to Egba Ancestors, Calls for Unity and Progress
As the Egba people marked the annual Lisabi Day celebration, Rt. Hon. Olumide Osoba, Member representing Abeokuta North/Obafemi-Owode/Odeda Federal Constituency, paid glowing tribute to the bravery and resilience of Egba ancestors, whose sacrifices secured the freedom and heritage enjoyed today.
In a heartfelt message, Hon. Osoba honoured the legendary warrior Lisabi Agbongbo-Akala, whose leadership and courage inspired the liberation of the Egba people from oppression. He emphasized the need to uphold the values of unity, perseverance, and communal love that defined the struggles of past heroes.
