Ipokia LG Council Chairman Receives School Children in Commemoration of Children’s Day Celebrations
The Executive Chairman of Ipokia Local Government, Hon. Johnson Akohomeh Avoseh, also known as *Cornerstone*, has urged school children in the council area to focus on their studies to achieve success.
He made the appeal on Tuesday, 27th May 2025, when pupils from Florish Children School, Isii-Ijofin, visited him at the secretariat to mark this year’s Children’s Day celebrations.
The council chairman also advised the children to maintain good behaviour and avoid misconduct.
Similarly, Hon. Avoseh called on parents, guardians, and teachers to properly care for children to prevent them from going astray.
The pupils were taken on a tour of various departments and offices within the council secretariat by the Director of Information, Education, and Sports, Mrs. Olumide Esther. She explained the functions and duties of these offices to the children and also entertained their questions.
The school’s head teacher, Mrs Onibiyo Comfort, expressed deep gratitude to the executive chairman for the cash donation to the pupils and the warm reception they received.
