Ipokia Council Chairman Inspects Oil Palm Plantations, Promises Development

The Executive Chairman of Ipokia Local Government, Hon. Johnson Akohomeh Avoseh has inspected local government plantations at Igbodo Jego and Idosemo on Thursday, 8th May, 2025.
Speaking after the inspection, Hon. Avoseh disclosed that the inspection has enabled him to see and appraise the situation on ground at the plantations and host communities.
The Council Boss further said as a matter of urgency his administration will see to proper management of the plantations by discussing with the contractor in charge to improve or change his mode of operation.
This step according to Cornerstone will enhance productivity of the plantations, which will inturn yield high revenue for the Local Government.
In the same vein, Hon Avoseh has also assured the residents of Igbodo Jego that his administration will provide their community with basic social amenities. He implored them to continue to be law abiding to
the Government of the day.
The Council Chief was accompanied during the inspection by career and political functionaries which comprised of the Head of Local Administration, Mr Emmanuel Pogbe, the Supervisor for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Hon Akindele Lukmon, Supervisor for Information, Hon Kazeem Isola Iyanda.Others are: the Council Treasurer, Mr Bakenne Lukmon, Director of Administration and General Services, Mr Abiodun Adeogun, The Director of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Mr Ezekiel Omidiji and the Internal Auditor, Mr Adeniyi Akeeb Alao.
