HON. AVOSEH COMMENDS PUBLIC PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN IPOKIA LOCAL GOVERNMENT ON FESTACS 2024
Teachers and Pupils of Public Primary schools in Ipokia Local Government have been commended for Organizing the Festival of Education, Sports and Culture (FESTACS) 2024, a Festival that revolves around Academics, Sports, and Culture by the Ipokia Local Government Executive Chairman, Hon.Johnson Akohomeh Avoseh.
Cornerstone made this commendation during the last day of the event, which took place today, Thursday, 12/12/2034, at Ipokia Local Government Primary School, Alaga- Ipokia.
Speaking further, Hon. Avoseh said that with the uniqueness of the programme, Other Local Government will emulate Ipokia Local Government Public Primary schools on the event, being the first of its kind in the council Area.
He also lauded teachers of Public Primary Schools for the quality of education they impact on the pupils.
The Council Boss called on the parents and Public to continue to co-operate with the teachers. He, however, rewarded a pupil with an outstanding performance, who presented a speech on the importance of the use of indigenous language as a means of knowledge impaction on the pupils in the classroom with a cash gift.
The event was witnessed by the following dignitaries: the vice-chairman, Hon (Mrs) Olufunmilayo Okewole, HRM, Oba James Igbowu, the Opo of Idosemo, Alhaja Oduntan Ireti Fausat, the Executive Education Secretary, Comrade Ola Opedimeji, State Chairman of NAPSGAST, Ogun State, Ven. J.O Babatunde, Former Headteacher General, Yewa/Awori.
