Governor Abiodun Hails Retired Water Corporation Boss, Jaji As A Seasoned Professional

Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun has praised the retired Acting General Manager of Ogun State Water Corporation, Engr. (Mrs.) Muinat Jaji is a seasoned professional who delivered beyond expectations.

At a send-off ceremony organized by the agency in Abeokuta, Governor Abiodun, represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, noted that Engr. Jaji’s leadership had transformed the Corporation, ensuring the provision of potable water to the people, a top priority of his administration.

“Engr. Jaji has justified the confidence reposed in her, breaking new grounds and proving her critics wrong,”

“On behalf of the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON, I felicitate the outgoing Acting General Manager of the Ogun State Water Corporation, Alhaja Muinat Olufunmilayo Jaji, after 35 years of meritorious service to the State.

She is indeed a seasoned professional who has proven the pessimists wrong. A dutiful and highly cerebral woman yet humble who discharged her duties painstakingly and flawlessly.

From the outset, Governor Abiodun placed a premium on Water Supply in the state as a critical factor in delivering on his administration’s Social Welfare and Well-being pillar to give succour to the people which necessitated the scout for a competent hand to man the agency, Mrs. Jaji outrightly justified the confidence reposed in her by our administration.

She has assisted the government to achieve its set objectives in the sector and her emergence has since heralded good fortunes in the agency.

Our prayer is that she will have a new lease on life as she continues to make impacts and serve humanity even as she retires from the Public service.” Talabi said

Friends and colleagues, including the Secretary to the Kogi State Government, Dr. (Mrs.) Folashade Ayoade, and the Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, Mrs. Funmilayo Efuwape, praised Engr. Jaji’s dedication, passion, and achievements in revamping the water sector.

Engr. Jaji expressed gratitude to the Governor and stakeholders for their support, which enabled her team to achieve feasible successes.

The event was attended by top government functionaries, including the Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya, Permanent Secretaries, and retired General Managers of the Corporation.
