Accommodate Members From Opposition For Future Victory – Adesina Tells Ogun APC Members

A Leader of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) in Ogun State and Special Adviser to Ogun State Governor on Works and infrastructure, Engr Babatunde Adesina, has on Wednesday during a Ward meeting, admonished members of the All progressives Congress, (APC) in the State not to fight new members who join from the opposition but accommodate them for consolidations and future victories.
Engr Adesina while addressing members of the Party during APC Oba Ward meeting held at Oba Town in Obafemi Owode Local Government area of Ogun State, when noted new members from opposition parties in the State, especially those who worked against the emergence of Gov. Dapo Abiodun also attended the first ward meeting said, ” Some people did not work with us in the last elections but joined after elections have been concluded, don’t chase them, we need them for future victories. Are we aiming to spend only four years in government or more? If we aim to spend more than four years in government, I see no reason any member who joins our Party, APC after election should be chased out or humiliated. We need everyone”.
Engr Babatunde Adesina who believes anyone with motive of serving the people for more than four or eight years, does not chase or fight politicians who join from other political parties, further explained that in politics, no permanent friends or enemies. “Our worst enemies who humiliated us during the last elections may become our best friends, that does not mean they should be sent out of our Party. In politics, no permanent friends or enemies they say, everyone should be accommodated because we aim to serve the people for more than eight years.”. Adesina Said.
” Apart from the fact that His Excellency, our Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun is doing wonderfully well in governance, he also accommodates people from other Parties and which is the best”. Engr Adesina said.
“Let me also use this medium to state that the current administration in Ogun State ably led by His Excellency, Gov. Abiodun has performed significantly across all sectors, including but not limited to education, health, ease of doing business and social intervention, employment, agriculture, security, and infrastructure”.
” Trust your Leaders, they know everyone’s status. Those who joined before, during and after elections are well known by the Leaders. Therefore, there should not be any room for fear of what may happen to those who deligently worked for the success of the last year elections. Everyone will be compensated accordingly. Let us remain calm and patient your Leaders know individual’s status as everyone is important now and in future.” Engr Adesina Said.
