Workers’ Day: Talabi Salutes Ogun Workers, Reaffirms Abiodun’s Commitment to Welfare

The Secretary to the Ogun State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, has extended heartfelt appreciation to workers across the state, describing them as the engine room of the public service and the bedrock of the administration’s developmental achievements.

In a statement issued to mark this year’s Workers’ Day, Talabi lauded the diligence, discipline, and unwavering commitment of the workforce, noting that the government, under the leadership of Governor Dapo Abiodun, does not take their contributions for granted.

“Your diligence, discipline, and unwavering commitment remain the engine room of our public service and the bedrock upon which the developmental strides of this administration are built,” Talabi said.

He reaffirmed that the government remains steadfast in advancing workers’ welfare, fostering a conducive work environment, and prioritising policies that promote productivity and human capital development.

The SSG urged the workforce to sustain the spirit of excellence and partnership that distinguishes Ogun State, expressing confidence that together, the gains recorded so far would be consolidated to build a more prosperous and resilient state.

He wished all workers a happy and rewarding celebration.
