Breaking: Kidnapped OOU students regain freedom (Video)

Two student of the Olabisi Onabanjo University who were kidnapped on school campus on Sunday have been released, according to the release by Ogun state govenment.
“This is to announce that we have secured the release of Precious Adeyemo and Abiola Oyefule – both OOU students recently kidnapped in Ayetoro.
I appreciate the efforts of the Ogun State Command of the Nigeria Police and other security agencies involved in the exercise that will now see the ladies reunited with their respective families”

Ransom?
However, a member of the family, who declined to be mentioned because he is not authorised to speak, also confirmed the release of the victims. He said they have released around 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
The family source did not disclose whether ransom was paid to secure the release of the victim.
The kidnappers had demanded for N50 million ransom for the release of the victims.
