2023 Polls: Ogun Speaker, Oluomo inaugurates Campaign council, assures Constituents of developmental projects

Towards the re-election of the Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt Hon (Prince) Olakunle Taiwo Oluomo, to represent people of Ifo Constituency One again at the state Assembly, a 450-man Campaign Council has been inaugurated.
The Council led by a seasoned teacher and former Education Secretary of Ifo local government, Honourable Rasheed Akintoye was sworn in by the Chairman, All Progressives Congress, Ifo Local government, Barrister Oduwole Olumide who charged the team to see their appointment as a call to deliver Majority votes in the Constituency to the party .
In his remarks, the chairman of the newly inaugurated council, Hon Rasheed Akintoye assured that his team would work assiduously towards the victory of all candidates of the APC
Speaker of the state Assembly who is also the Candidate of the APC in the Constituency, Rt Hon Olakunle Oluomo pointed out that his choice to seek re-election into the Hallowed chamber in the state is to further facilitate developmental projects to his constituents.
“We need to still bring further developments to this Constituency. We have alot but it’s not enough for our people. We shall continue to do more if elected again”
“Our people should vote APC at all levels.” He noted.
Highlight of the event was a free Medical check-up, Free Registration for Health Insurance Scheme and a rally of over two hours round the township.
Dignitaries at the event included the state Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon Adijat Adeleye-Oladapo, Ogun Central Senatorial chairman of the party, Chief Fohun Abiola , chairman of the local government Council, Chief (Mrs) Kikelomo Delano and other political leaders in the Local government.
