Ipokia LG Chairman,Johnson Avoseh Hosts National Council of Women Society
The Executive Chairman of Ipokia Local Government, Hon. Johnson Avoseh, also known as Cornerstone, has emphasized the crucial role women play in nation-building and community development.
He made this submission while receiving the National Council of Women Society (NCWS), Ipokia Local Government Chapter, at the council’s secretariat on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
Cornerstone Stressed that women are highly committed and persevere a lot when it comes to the development of the community and the Nation.
He immensely appreciated their courtesy call, being their first visit since he assumed Office as the Executive Chairman.
The President of the Society, Mrs Gene Foluke, in her address during the visit, congratulated Hon. Avoseh for emerging as the Council Chairman.
She also listed the activities of the society as well as the challenges facing them.
However, she pleaded for the assistance and support of the Council Boss in addressing those challenges.
Responding, Hon. Avoseh assured the Society that his Administration will do everything possible to address these requests in due course.
