Unions stage solidarity walk for Abiodun, Others in Remo Federal Constituency

In a bid to show unflinching and unalloyed support for the second term bid of Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, the leadership of the Coalition of all Transport Unions in Ogun State, embarked on a 3-Day Solidarity Walk across the three local government areas in Remo Federal Constituency (Ikenne, Sagamu & Remo North).

The exercise commenced on Tuesday, 13th of December, 2022 in Remo North local government which witnessed a massive turnout, with people from various communities, lauding the landmark achievements of Prince Dapo Abiodun since he took over the affairs of the Gateway State in 2019.

On Thursday, 15th of December, 2022, the exercise continued in Ikenne local government where people also registered firm solidarity for the second term agenda of Prince Dapo Abiodun and all other candidates of the All Progressives’ Congress (APC) in Remo Federal Constituency.

The Solidarity Walk was rounded off in Sagamu local government on Saturday, 17th of December, 2022..

It was indeed a successful and well packaged event, with large turn out of transport union members, APC candidates in Remo, party leaders, youth groups and other stakeholders in APC Remo, among which were; Hon. Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga IJAYA, Apagun Biyi Adeleye, Hon Segun Shitta, Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle, Comrade Mike Adekunle (Power Mike), Mayegun Adetola Dosunmu, Akile Taofeek Sokoya Danku, Aremo Akinlolu Aguubiade (PRO ACOMORAN) and many other political and others too numerous to mention.

The Solidarity Walk is more of a confirmation that indeed, all candidates of the All Progressives’ Congress (APC) have the backing of their people and should expect nothing but victory in 2023. It also showed that the candidates seeking reelection have an excellent score card which attracted the overwhelming support of the people.

The leadership of the Coalition of transport unions also used the medium to show their unwavering support for the re-election bid of Governor Abiodun and urge all electorates in Remo to get their PVCs in order to exercise their electoral rights.
