Ogun-Oshun River Basin MD Donates 10,000 Branded Caps to Support Yayi’s 2027 Governorship Bid
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Ogun-Oshun River Basin Development Authority, Engr. Dr. Adedeji Ashiru, FNSE, FNIMechE, FNIWE, has announced the donation of 10,000 custom-branded campaign caps in support of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, ahead of the 2027 Ogun State governorship election.
Ashiru, in a statement, said the donation was made on behalf of himself and his wife as a demonstration of their support and commitment to the Yayi 2027 governorship project.
According to him, the initiative is aimed at amplifying support for Adeola’s political ambition across the state’s 20 local government areas and 236 wards.
Ashiru said he had followed what he described as Adeola’s public service record and legislative career with admiration, citing his time in the Lagos State House of Assembly and subsequent service in the National Assembly.
He expressed confidence that an Adeola-led administration would focus on areas including infrastructure, youth and women empowerment, security, industrialisation and governance.
The Ogun-Oshun River Basin Development Authority boss also said he and his supporters remained prepared to provide further moral and material support to the campaign.
He consequently called on APC members, youths, women, artisans, market women and other stakeholders across the state to support Adeola’s governorship ambition.
