Team 20,000 Votes for Yayi 2027 Unveils State Coordinator, Releases Members’ ID Tags
The leadership of Team 20,000 Votes for Yayi 2027 has announced the appointment of Comr. Seweje Temitope as the State Coordinator of the movement ahead of the 2027 Ogun State governorship election.
In a statement signed by the Convener of the movement, Rasheed Aroboto, Comr. Seweje was described as a woman with strong organisational capacity, political experience and an understanding of grassroots mobilisation and stakeholder engagement.
According to the statement, her appointment is part of efforts to strengthen the movement’s structures and expand its presence across Ogun State.
The movement said the new State Coordinator would work with its leadership and members to coordinate statewide activities, strengthen grassroots engagement and advance its objective of building a network of 20,000 committed supporters for Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi.
The leadership also announced the release of identification tag numbers for registered members of the movement.
It explained that each registered member had been assigned a unique identification number, which would serve as the official means of identification within Team 20,000 Votes for Yayi 2027.
Members were consequently advised to check the released membership register, identify their respective tag numbers and keep them safely for future verification and movement activities.
The movement congratulated Comr. Seweje Temitope on her appointment and expressed confidence in her ability to contribute to its growth and coordination.
Team 20,000 Votes for Yayi 2027 reiterated its commitment to organised participation, strategic mobilisation, inclusive engagement, professionalism and a peaceful democratic process ahead of the 2027 elections.
