Ogun Chairmanship Aspirant, Ishola Donates Notebooks to Abẹokuta North Education Authority

As the Public Schools in Ogun State will resume educational activities this September 21, 2020, the Chairman of Irọrun Movement and leading Chairmanship Aspirant of Abeokuta North Local Government, Engr. Tajhdeen Ọlálékan Ishola has presented note books to Abẹokuta North Local Government Education Authority for the distribution among the Students in the Local Government.

The presentation which took place on Monday at the Education Authority office at Ita Iyalode, Abẹokuta was witnessed by the Transition Commitee Chairman of the Local Government who was represented by the Secretary of the Local Government, Hon. Tayelolu Egbeyemi, and the members of Education Authority of Abẹokuta North Local Government.

While addressing people at the event, Engr. Tajhdeen Ishola emphasized that Education is very key and he would officially requested to meet with the Stakeholders in the education sector in the local government so as to contribute more for the educational developments of the Local Government.

He said: ”The children are the future of this nation and they need to be supported and encouraged to stop them from turning out to be a burden on themselves, the society and the world at large.

The books, according to the donor, were aimed at bridging the literacy gap between the privileged and the underprivileged children in the society.

Earlier, While delivering the message of the Chairman, Transition Commitee, Hon. Egbeyemi narrated his humble background as he was born and trained by Teachers. He reinstated the commitment of Government in the State to qualitative and affordable education.
