Ogun ALGON Urges Continued Ramadan Virtues, Support for Abiodun and Tinubu in Eid-el-Fitr Message

The Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Ogun State Chapter, led by Hon. (Dr.) Folasade Adeyemo has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across the state on the successful completion of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.
In a press statement released on March 30, 2025, Hon. (Dr.) Folasade Adeyemo, ALGON Chairman, commended the Muslim community for their dedication, self-discipline, and commitment to spiritual observances during the holy month. She emphasized the enduring significance of Ramadan’s lessons—self-discipline, compassion, justice, and peaceful coexistence—for promoting national harmony and sustainable development.
ALGON also praised Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun (CON) for his steadfast dedication to the state’s development, highlighting advancements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and grassroots empowerment. The statement noted that Governor Abiodun’s inclusive governance approach aligns with the Ramadan values of fairness and service to humanity.
“As we celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, we must sustain the noble values of Ramadan in our daily lives. Let us continue to promote unity, tolerance, and support for one another. We also urge all citizens to stand firmly behind the administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) as they work tirelessly to build a prosperous and peaceful Nigeria,” Hon. (Dr.) Adeyemo stated.
ALGON Ogun State further called on residents to maintain law and order, foster peaceful coexistence, and actively contribute to the development of their communities.
The statement concluded with prayers for continued peace, progress, and divine guidance for Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole.
