Obafemi Owode, Ogun State – Amb. Adesina Lanre Ogunsola, FCPA, the Executive Chairman of Obafemi Owode Local Government, has reiterated the importance of education as the foundation for a secured future. This was stated during his inspection visit to two schools in the area: the newly constructed 2 blocks of 10 classrooms at Maba Primary School and the 24-classroom Lord’s Way Model Nursery and Primary School in Siun, which includes boarding facilities.

The visit, which took place on March 13, 2025, aimed to assess the completion levels of the projects and their readiness to commence academic activities. Amb. During the inspection, the Chairman commended the efforts of the proprietor of Lord’s Way Model School, Prophet Godwin Ojerinde, for complementing the government’s initiatives in the education sector. He praised the school’s state-of-the-art facilities, including 24 classrooms, 6 toilets, boarding facilities, a sports field, and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras, all designed to ensure a secure and conducive learning environment.

He expressed gratitude to the Obafemi Owode Local Government for its support in securing approvals and providing necessary backing for the project. He also assured the public of affordable tuition fees, tailored to the economic realities of Nigeria, and encouraged parents to enroll their children once admissions begin.

In addition to the school inspections, Amb. Ogunsola also visited other ongoing projects, including the re-construction of the Local Government Secretariat Road in Ogidan, Owode-Egba, and the rehabilitation of the Legislative Chamber, Planning Department, and Community Development Department blocks at the Secretariat. He assured residents of Mowe and Ibafo that road reconstruction projects in their areas would commence soon.

The Chairman was accompanied by key political functionaries, including Hon. Kayode Dipeolu, Secretary to the Local Government; Hon.
