New Year: Ogun Senatorial candidate, Salisu distributes rice, Chicken, Cash gift to families

The Ogun Central senatorial candidate of All Progressives Congress, Alhaji SHUAIB AFOLABI SALISU in the spirit of charitable giving that accompanies the Christmas and New Year season distributed sacks of Rice, Chicken and cash gifts to over 2,000 families within Ogun Central.

The distribution of these items which began on Tuesday, put smiles on the faces of beneficiaries with many expressing thanks through prayers for the incoming senator.

Speaking about significant of the season when addressing the people and his supporters, the former chief of staff to Governor Dapo Abiodun emphasised on the need to “contribute to the wellbeing of those around us, give succor to people we find in need and study more how to solve problems instead of creating them,”.

He added: “Let us keep in the forefront of our minds that this season also asks of us to show greater compassion, empathy and understanding, and enlightenment in how we treat and relate to one another.”

As at 12:30 pm on Friday, December 30, 2022, people besieged SAS’s residence in their large numbers as well as those who had theirs delivered to them at their domain were amazed at the milk of human kindness of #SAS, saying it has been long such has occurred in Ogun Central.

Mrs Bamidele Oguntade, One of the beneficiaries noted that the gesture had again reaffirmed the APC Ogun central Senatorial candidate as a grassroots man to the core.

“You will be marvelled and moved with emotions as the beneficiaries appreciated Mr Salisu for putting himself in the shoes of the common men who may find it difficult to prepare sumptuous meal to their family at this period of festivity,” she added.

This kind gesture will further attest to the fact that the incoming Ogun Central Senatorial district senator the spirit of the season by showing love and sharing with one another.

Earlier in the week, Ogun Central APC Senatorial candidate, Alhaji Shuaib Afolabi Salisu (SAS) has distributed bags of rice to members of the party,APC) across the 74 wards in Ogun Central senatorial district.
