Lion Niyi Oshiyemi Installed as 20th President of OGUNCCIMA, Vows to Redefine Chamber’s Role

Ijebu Ode, Ogun State – In a ceremony attended by top stakeholders, Lion Niyi Oshiyemi was inaugurated as the 20th President of the Ogun State Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (OGUNCCIMA) at the organization’s 40th Annual General Meeting.

Oshiyemi, in his acceptance speech, expressed gratitude to the outgoing President, Engr. Mike Akingbade, and pledged to leverage available opportunities to redefine and reposition the Chamber. He emphasized the need to create platforms to influence legislation and improve the business environment.

The new President unveiled his flagship project, “OGUNCCIMA Secretariat,” and sought support from stakeholders, including the state government, development partners, and the diplomatic community.

Hon. Adebola Sofela Emmanuel, Ogun State Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment, commended OGUNCCIMA’s contributions to entrepreneurial excellence, economic growth, and investment opportunities. He urged the new leadership to approach their roles with unity, fairness, and foresight.

NACCIMA President, Dele Kelvin Oye, represented by Olusola Obadimu, charged the new leadership to build on past achievements and chart a course for the future.

Oshiyemi praised the founding fathers of the Chamber and committed to taking OGUNCCIMA to greater heights, making it a beacon of hope for businesses in Ogun State.
