Ipokia LG Chairman Commiserates with Council of Chiefs and Idiroko Community on Monarch’s Demise

The Executive Chairman of Ipokia Local Government, Hon Johnson Akohomeh Avoseh, AKA Cornerstone, has commiserated with the council of Chiefs and people of Ikolaje-Idiroko on the transition of their monarch, HRH,Alayeluwa Oba John Olakunle Ojo,th e Oniko of Ikolaje-Idiroko, which happened a few days ago.
Hon Avoseh paid a condolence visit to the Palace of Oniko of Ikolaje-Idirokon today, Monday, 26th May 2025. He was received by the Council of Chiefs on arrival at the Palace.
Speaking during the visit, Hon Avoseh described the late king as a lover of peace who also cherished different kinds of people living in his domain irrespective of where they were from. He also said that the late Oba Ojo will always be remembered for his immense contributions to the growth and development of Idiroko.
The Council Boss prayed for peace and progress of the Idiroko community in particular and the Ipokia Local Government in general. He also prayed that the legacy left by the late monarch would not be spoiled.
Speaking on behalf of the Council of Chiefs, the Aro of Ikolaje-Idiroko, Chief Mattew osse Olorode, thanked the chairman for the visit and prayed for his administration.
Hon Avoseh was accompanied to the Palace by the Secretary to Local Government, Hon. Babajide Johnson Olushola and the Head of Local Government Administration, Mr Emmanuel Pogbe and the press crew.
