Helen Paul inspire Nigerians, reveals she was birthed as a result of rape

Comedienne Helen Paul is sharing this story for the very first time and it has got a lot of Nigerians emotional. The comedienne, OAP and actress revealed she grew up with family members referring to her as a bastard child.

The 41-year-old who recently bagged a PHD degree at the University of Lagos, dedicated the degree to her mom who obviously didn’t terminate her life when it seemed to be an unwanted pregnancy.

According to Helen she was referred to as a bastard and when she spoke to her mom about it, her mom always said;

“God watches the child of a mad person, he’d watch over you.”

It must have been really tough for Helen growing up, but she definitely got to where she is with the positive energy that resonates from Mama Paul.

I grew up hearing from family members; being called a “Bastard” and each time i asked you, you said (Olorun lon wo omo werey, Olorun ma wo e meaning God watches the child of a mad person, he’d watch over you)

Mummy i want to know i love you, i might not buy you Benz now because i don’t have a Pant yet but this certificate will amount to something great.

They say Fame is nothing but Grace is everything and i pray for grace in everything i do
