Gov. Dapo Abiodun’s aide, Akinmade, loses father
The father of Honourable Kayode Akinmade, Special Adviser on Media and Strategy to the Ogun State governor, has passed away.
High Chief Moses Ade Akinmade, the Obamoluwa of Idanre kingdom, died on Monday evening.
The announcement was made on his Facebook page on Tuesday.
“With boundless gratitude to Almighty God for a life well spent, I wish to announce the transition of my father, Chief Moses Ade Akinmade, into glory this evening. He was 98 years old.
He was my counsellor and chief motivator. He loved us his children with fervent love. He was a father like no other….
My family and I request your prayers as we come to terms with this development and honour his memory.

Hon. Kayode Akinmade, who also served as Special Adviser on Media to former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Dimeji Bankole, expressed that while the family is deeply affected by the loss, they take solace in the distinguished life the deceased led.
High Chief Moses Ade Akinmade was remembered as a great community leader, cocoa merchant, socialite, agriculturist, and culture enthusiast.
The nonagenarian is survived by his wives and children. Burial arrangements will be announced by the family soon.
