Daisi Elemide, Adewale Adeogun, Abimbola Oyeyemi Bag NUT Awards

The Nigeria Union of Teachers, Ogun State Wing, Odeda Local Government Branch has honoured the chairman, House Committee on Transportation at Ogun state house of Assembly, Hon. Daisi Elemide, Member of Ogun state SUBEB and the Founder/ National Coordinator, Asiwaju Progressive Forum ,Hon. Adewale Jeleel Adeogun and the Ogun state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, for their outstanding contributions to the development of education in Ogun state and Nigeria at large.

Adeogun, who bagged awards of Veteran Politician/Teacher was handed the award on Saturday at a ceremony hosted at NDIC Hall, Salau Abiola Comprehensive high school, Osiele in Odeda local government.

Elemide, while receiving the award, gave assurance that Ogun state house of Assembly would continue to collaborate with all stakeholders to improve the quality and standard of education in the state.

“Education helps to move the innovation aspect of research,” he said.

The Odeda NUT chairman said that the Union would continue to honour individuals who contributed in one way or the other in the area of bringing development in their places of primary assignment or the society at large.

He listed the achievements recorded by the execo under him.

On their part, the award recipients thanked NUT for finding them worthy, adding that the award would motivate them to serve the state better.
