Covid-19, Lockdown: Mrs. Abiodun Distributes Relief Items to Indigents in Iperu, Ilisan
Indigents in Iperu and Ilisan Remo yesterday 10th April 2020,took turns to benefit from the relief items being distributed across the state by the Wife of the Governor of Ogun state, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun to cushion the effect of the lockdown on the less privileged.
The relief items which according to her was a way of giving succour to the people in response to the lockdown occasioned by Covid 19 pandemic.
Mrs. Abiodun advised the people to continue to observe personal hygiene, regular washing of hands and physical distancing as directed by the National Center for Disease Control and the governments.
She reiterated her commitment to support the present administration at seeing to the welfare of the people of the state assuring them of enhanced livelihood.
Meanwhile, the wife of the Governor of Ogun state, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun has distributed relief items to different vulnerable groups in the state.
The groups which included People Living with Disabilities, Widows catered for by the Police Officers wives Association and Widows of fallen Soldiers in the Boko Haram Insurgence among others.
